International Community Schools (ICS) is proud to announce a heartwarming and historic victory for its students of determination, who were crowned champions at the 3rd Boccia Tournament, held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi Club for People of Determination.

Held under the inspiring theme “I Am a Boccia Champion,” the tournament brought together students from across the emirate in a spirited display of talent, resilience, and unity. The ICS team competed with remarkable enthusiasm, integrity, and true sportsmanship — ultimately securing First Place in the competition.

The event proved to be more than a sporting contest; it was a powerful celebration of ability, inclusion, and joy. The pride and happiness radiating from our students and their dedicated supervisors were deeply moving, creating unforgettable moments of triumph and connection.

Their return to school was equally special, met with a warm and joyous welcome that lifted their spirits and reinforced their sense of accomplishment. This experience not only enriched their emotional and social development but also left a lasting impact on the entire school community.

“In honoring their victory, we believe our students of determination have truly earned a new title — ‘Champions of Happiness.’ Through their beautiful spirit and outstanding performance, they brought immense pride and joy to everyone around them.”
— Coach Akram, ECA Coordinator, ICS Al Danah

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students, families, and staff who supported this incredible journey.
