The Ministry of Education curriculum used in schools in Abu Dhabi is a comprehensive and structured educational framework designed to provide students with a well-rounded education. It aims to foster academic excellence, promote critical thinking, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary for students to succeed in a rapidly changing world. The Ministry of Education curriculum encourages a multicultural perspective and promotes the appreciation of the local culture and heritage of Abu Dhabi. It includes modules on the history, language, and traditions of the United Arab Emirates, fostering a sense of national identity and pride among students.
All schools are required to teach Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, and Social Studies. For non-Muslims, Islamic Studies is not compulsory and Arabic for non-Arabs is provided.
